One woman was killed and two others injured when the car they were in crashed into a house in Lewiston Wednesday morning.

Lewiston police say a BMW crashed into a home on Webster Street around 4:15 a.m., leaving a passenger, 28-year-old Natasha Thoits of Lewiston, dead at the scene.

The driver, a 25-year-old from Lewiston, suffered minor injuries, while a third person was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries and a fourth fled the scene.

Police say speed and impairment are factors in the crash.

Anyone with information about the fourth passenger is asked to contact Lewiston police.
