12 people displaced in Lewiston fire

LEWISTON, Maine (WGAN) 3 families are displaced due to a fire at a building in Lewiston on Sunday morning.

According to our info partners at CBS 13 news, the fire broke out at a multi-family building on Shawmut Street around 6 a.m. Sunday. Fire officials say it started in the ceiling of the 2nd floor hallway and was caused by an electrical issue. There were no injuries.

The Red Cross is working with the 12 people who were displaced.
