A 13-year-old student was reportedly stabbed by another student during a wrestling meet at Mountain Valley Middle School in Mexico on Friday.

According to CBS 13, the student who was hurt was stabbed in the shoulder and their wound was described as superficial.

No information about the weapon that was used was immediately provided.

According to media reports, charges were expected to be filed in connection with the incident.
