14-year-old dies after getting hit by tractor in Aroostook County

A Fort Kent teenager who was hit by a tractor has died of his injuries.

The incident happened around 12:40 p.m. Sunday on Chasse Road in St. Agatha.

Maine State Police say the 14-year-old boy was behind a tractor while it was being operated and was hit by the vehicle.

The teen was pronounced dead at a Fort Kent hospital.

The incident is under investigation.
