18-year-old connected with Saco shooting arrested in New York

18-year-old Biddeford resident Ariana Tito has been taken into custody for allegedly shooting a woman in Saco Tuesday.

According to CBS 13, police located Tito in Brooklyn, New York Friday where she was detained on attempted murder and assault charges.

Tito allegedly shot 32-year-old Kayla Grant at a home on Temple Street in Saco. Grant remains in critical but stable condition.

A man had been arrested on murder charges at the same address the day before the Tuesday shooting.

Tito is currently being held at Rikers Island in New York, but it is likely she will be extradited to Maine.
