RICHMOND, Maine (AP) _ Maine police say a man and a woman were found dead in a Maine home.

The Portland Press Herald reports that Richmond Police Chief Scott McMaster said the two bodies were found in a Richmond home Saturday. The cause of the deaths was not immediately available.

Richmond police didn’t immediately respond to requests for further details.

Maine State Police’s spokesman said state troopers are on scene working with Richmond police. The spokesman said further details to be released later Saturday.

Richmond is located about 20 miles (32 kilometers) south of the state’s capital, Augusta.
