3 Hospitalized in a Serious Crash on County Road in Scarborough

On Memorial Day morning, a severe collision involving a light-duty dump truck and a passenger car in Scarborough resulted in three hospitalizations, including two adults and an infant.

As of 10:00 Monday County Road was shut down from the Buxton boundary at Broadturn Road to Hodgdon Road in Scarborough, and has since reopened.

The Scarborough Fire Department reports that the incident occurred at the intersection of County Road and River Woods Drive.

The accident is currently under reconstruction, and additional details are expected to be released by the Scarborough Police Department.
