A 4-year-old boy was hospitalized after he wandered away from a preschool in Hampden.

Police responded to Highland Pre-School on Kennebec Rd. after the boy was reported missing Monday.

According to CBS 13, the boy was found in a nearby yard before officers arrived.

He was taken to the hospital, but no details on the boy’s injuries were immediately provided.
