A new music venue proposed in Downtown Portland would seat around 3,300. The Scarborough based Mile Marker Investments, led by the father and son team of Howard and Todd Goldenfarb announced they want to build the venue at 244 Cumberland Ave, one block east of City Hall. The proposer co-sponsored by music promotion giant, Live Nation, was submitted to the city. Todd Goldenfarb told the Portland Press Herald, “We thought it would be great to have a modern venue like the MGM Music Hall at Fenway (in Boston) here in Portland.”

The venue is slated to be named Portland Music Hall and the estimated time it could be built would be from the fall of 2025 to the later months of 2027.
