A Man was Found Murdered in An Indian Township Home

The Maine State Police is investigating a homicide in Indian Township.

Police reported to a home on Peter Dana Point Road, Saturday night, where they found 41-year-old Cory Fields of Indian Island, dead at the scene.

Police arrested 46-year-old Jeremey Stevens of Indian Township and was charged with murder.

Fields body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta where an autopsy was performed on Sunday with gunshot wounds noted as the cause of death.
