Acton Man Arrested for Harassing Courts

ACTON, Maine (WGAN)  An Acton man has been ordered held without bail after being arrested on multiple counts of violating his conditions of release.

On Nov. 28, York County Deputies arrested 57-year-old Ron Colson on a warrant charging 11 counts of violating his conditions of release.  Deputies say Colson had been arrested originally earlier in the month on six counts of harassment by telephone.  Deputies say he had been calling the courthouse “incessantly.”  Colson was released on that charge on $500 bail with the condition he not continue to contact the courts in a harassing matter.

Deputies say during the month of November, Colson continued to call the court numerous times, which led to the 11 counts of violating conditions of release.

During his initial court appearance, Colson was ordered held without bail.  He’s scheduled to appear in Alfred Superior Court later this month.
