Agents seize more than 16 pounds of meth, illegal gun in Waterville drug bust

Police say more than 16 pounds of methamphetamine were seized during a major drug bust in Waterville.

Police and drug agents executed a search warrant on Dec. 30 after a months-long investigation, leading to the seizure of meth and an illegal gun.

48-year-old Andrew Symonevich of Waterville was taken into custody and faces charges of drug trafficking and gun possession.

Symonevich’s bail was set at $35,000 and he’s set to appear in court on Feb. 23.
