All American Airlines flights in and out of the Portland Jetport were cancelled Thursday after a deadly crash in Washington D.C. Wednesday night.

It’s believed there are no survivors after the American Airlines jet carrying 60 passengers and 4 crew members crashed into a U.S. Army Helicopter with three Army personnel onboard, sending both aircraft into the Potomac River.

The plane had also been in Maine the day before the crash, flying a round-trip flight between Reagan National Airport and Bangor in the afternoon and evening on Tuesday.
