The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office is raising awareness about a spike in vehicle burglaries and thefts.
The sheriff’s office says the increase is across the region, but they’re especially focused on the Livermore area.
Deputies have not released any details about the burglaries and thefts, but are urging drivers to take simple precautions such as locking car doors and removing valuables.
They’re asking people to be aware about crimes involving vehicles, especially in the Livermore area.

- Report suspicious activity or individuals around parked vehicles to law enforcement.
