Armed Robbery in Gorham Makes the Count 11

GORHAM, Maine (WGAN) An armed robbery at Domino’s Pizza in Gorham brings the count to 11 in recent weeks. Store officials say each employee is trained for this type of situation.

Area trainer Jay Payne tells Channel 8 that employees are trained to get the robber what they want, get them out the door, then lock the door and call the authorities.

The robber is described as man about 5’7″, 135 pounds, wearing jeans and a gray sweatshirt.

Police are reviewing the surveillance footage but have not yet released it. Officials are still investigating if the robbery is connected to the recent string of armed robberies in the Greater Portland Area.
