Attorney for Rockport Man Charged With Four Murders Enters Insanity Plea


GROTON, Massachusetts (WGAN) An attorney for a Rockport man charged in the murders of his mother, grandparents, and a caretaker has entered an insanity plea on behalf of his client.

The Portland Press Herald reports that the attorney for 23-year-old Orion Krause, who pleaded not guilty to the killings which took place in Massachusetts in 2017, says “mental illness was the entire explanation for this tragedy.”

A status conference will take place April 22nd.

If convicted on all charges, Krause faces a maximum of 4 life sentences without parole.
