A 20-year-old Auburn man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Auburn.

Auburn police say Owen Vincecruz was riding his motorcycle when he struck a Honda Odyssey while it was making a left turn on to Center Street around 2 p.m. Thursday.

He suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center before he was transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he died of his injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, Alice Houmann, 69, of West Bath, was evaluated by paramedics at the scene.

Auburn police say they’re still investigating the crash and have extended condolences to Vincecruz’s family.
