Authorities renew search for missing New Sweden teen

Searches will be taking place in the New Sweden area for a teenager who went missing last fall.

14-year-old Stefanie Damron was last seen leaving her home on West Road in New Sweden on Sep. 24 of 2024.

Maine State Police, the Maine Warden Service, FBI and volunteers will be searching the area Friday through Sunday.

Damron is a white female, about 5 feet tall, weighing 130 pounds with green eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Maine State Police.
