Bangor diner to close after 32 years in business

Another Maine business is closing it’s doors for good.

Nicky’s Cruisin Diner in Bangor has been a mainstay in the area for 32 years. They announced Monday that their last day of business will be June 30th.

The owners made the announcement in a Facebook post, but didn’t mention whether or not the closing was related to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Bangor Daily News, the restaurant opened in the early 70s as an ice cream parlor, but expanded after it’s current owners bought it back in 1987.
