Bangor man accused of possessing sexually explicit photos of minors

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN) A man arrested Wednesday morning in Bangor is accused of having sexually explicit images of children under the age of 12.

Matthew Crossman of Bangor is charged with possession of sexually explicit material, a class C felony. The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Bangor Police Department.

The 34-year-old Crossman was taken to the Penobscot County Jail after his arrest Wednesday morning.
