Bangor Man Charged After Explosive Seized from Home

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  Bangor Police say a man is facing charges after explosives were seized from his home Tuesday afternoon.

Police say suspected explosives were seized from the home on Essex Street after a search warrant was executed.

Police say 35-year-old James Smith has been charged with criminal use of explosives and possession of firearms by a prohibited person as a result.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.

No other information was made available.
