Bangor man charged with burglary

A Bangor man was arrested and charged with burglary on Monday.

Bangor police say officers responded to a report of a burglary around 9:30 Monday morning on French Street. The alleged burglary happened around 4 a.m. Monday.

After reviewing surveillance footage, an officer recognized 27-year-old Tayler Cotton from previous encounters.

Cotton was located and taken into custody Monday afternoon. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail and charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
