A Maine man was arrested in Old Town after police say he fled from an officer in a box truck before crashing it.

Old Town police say an officer tried to pull over thirty-seven-year-old Kyle Albert of Bangor Sunday night on the Stillwater Avenue Bridge. He’s accused of leading police on a chase on I-95 North before crashing at Exit 197 and then fleeing on foot into the woods.

He was tracked down and arrested and faces multiple charges, including eluding an officer and reckless conduct.

Albert was taken to Penobscot County Jail.
