Bangor Police arrest man for stalking

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  Bangor Police say they have arrested a man after he allegedly stalked a child.

Police say they were called Sunday after a family reported that a man had been following their child.

Police identified the man as 46-year-old Brian Mcdonald.  Police say he recently moved to Bangor from out-of-state.  Mcdonald is accused of trying to make repeated attempts at contacting the victim.

Police say they arrested Mcdonald and charged him with stalking.  He was taken to Penobscot County Jail.
