Barbara Bush Hospital Gets Funding Boost After Maine Honors Her Birthday

Casco Bay Ford

Maine and the town of Kennebunkport have been celebrating what would have been former First Lady Barbara Bush 100th birthday.

Meanwhile, Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland is getting an $11,000 shot in the arm thanks to a fundraising effort from a local car dealership.

Casco Bay Ford donated $100 for every vehicle sold in the month of May to the hospital for items like safe cribs & cars seats for newborns, pediatric MRI systems and the hospital’s Child Life Program.

The dealership has donated more than $68,000 Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital over the past several years.

Casco Bay Ford says it’s proud to be able to help support the hospital after it’s done to help their employees, customers and the community.
