BIDDEFORD, Maine (WGAN) A man who was seen jumping out of a second-story window is arrested on drug trafficking charges.

Maine State Police and Biddeford Police say 47-year-old Jamison Snyder of Biddeford was wanted on a nationwide warrant related to a drug trafficking case. He had recently been released from prison but had violated his probation.

Police spoke with several people throughout the day on Monday, who said they saw Snyder and that he appeared to be under the influence of unknown narcotics.

Troopers arrived at a Main Street apartment around 6:00 PM on Monday. Before entering, they saw Snyder jump out of the second-story window and land on the ground that was covered in ice. He began bleeding from a head injury. Police say he refused to show his hands and was tased so that he could be arrested.

He was found to be carrying fentanyl, cocaine, and crack on his person. He will have a new charge of Aggravated Trafficking in a Schedule drug due to his prior history.

Snyder is presently being held at Maine Medical Center under police guard and will be transported to the York County Jail when he’s released.
