HAMPDEN, Maine (WGAN) Maine State Police have identified the man killed when his pickup truck overturned in Hampden on Wednesday morning.

Public Safety Spokesman Steve McCausland says the truck being driven by 57-year-old Stanley Swallow of Newburgh overturned on I-95.

Police say black ice was to blame, causing the truck to strike guardrails and then overturn several times. Stanley was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the truck.

He died at the scene.
