Body of Milo man missing for more than two weeks recovered in river

MILO (WGAN) Police say they’ve recovered the body of a missing Milo man.

The body of 24-year-old Cevonte Johnson was found in the Sebec River Tuesday afternoon. Johnson’s body was found by divers with the Maine State Police and the Maine Warden Service. It was located after a search that lasted more than two weeks.

Police in Milo say they won’t speculate on the circumstances surrounding Johnson’s death. They say they’re being assisted in their investigation by members of the State Police Major Crimes Unit.
