Body of wanted Augusta man recovered from Kennebec River


The body of a man wanted in connection with a domestic abuse incident was pulled from the Kennebec River on Tuesday.

Police said 40-year-old Justin Larrabee of Augusta was on the run and considered armed and dangerous after an incident on Riverside Drive on Friday. Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of a body near the Cushnoc Crossing Bridge in Augusta.

The body was identified as Larrabee’s.
