One man was arrested and another was taken to the hospital after a shooting at a business in Bangor early Sunday morning.

Police officers were parked nearby and they responded immediately after hearing shots on Harlow Street.

When they got there, they say people were running from the business and hiding behind cars in the parking lot.

CBS 13 reports that police say a physical altercation had taken place between patrons waiting to enter the business, and one of them began firing a gun.

The suspect, Gaurionex Joaquin-Peguero, 28, of Boston, was arrested and charged with elevated aggravated assault.

Police said the victim’s injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
