Both drivers killed in collision in Augusta

Two women were killed after a collision in Augusta on Wednesday.

The crash happened Wednesday afternoon around 2:45 on Eastern Avenue. The vehicle being driven by 26-year-old Kelsey Buckmore of Augusta struck another vehicle being driven by 26-year-old Rachel Paquet of Smithfield.

Both women died at the scene.

Police are still investigating the crash.
