New Hampshire Police have issued a shelter in place order after they said the driver of a car pulled over by Rochester Police fired a shot at police offier. The suspect fled into the woods, and remains at large.


New Hampshire Police have issued a shelter in place order after they said the driver of a car pulled over by Rochester Police fired a shot at police offier. The suspect fled into the woods, and remains at large.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday after a vehicle was pulled over in the area of Milton Road and Periwinkle Drive, according to a post on the Rochester Police Facebook page. Police have urged all resident in the Sakes Mobile Home Park to shelter in place while the search continues.
As of 8 a.m. Rochester police were still searching for the suspect, with the assistance of New Hampshire State Police helicopter, SWAT teams from Maine and Stafford County.
Police have not yet released a description of the suspect.
