BRUNSWICK, Maine (AP) Police in a Maine town say there is no evidence sexual assault took place at a local high school football team’s retreat.

Brunswick police reviewed cell phone videos after complaints that hazing took place at the Brunswick High School team retreat in August. Police said Friday there is no interest by any of the parties to pursue criminal charges, and the case is closed, WCSH-TV reported.

The team’s season was canceled this year. Brunswick school officials said in October that the school could not safely field a varsity team. Longtime coach Daniel Cooper was also fired.
