CALAIS, Maine (WGAN) A behavioral health counselor in the Calais school system allegedly sent sexually explicit videos and photos to a 16-year-old student and engaged in sexual acts with the student last October.

According to the Bangor Daily News, Megan Farquharson is charged with two counts of gross sexual assault and one count of unlawful sexual contact.

The student is enrolled in an alternative school, which the district says is for children with behavioral impairments that prevent them from functioning in a classroom environment.
