Camden National Bank is being sued for allegedly selling customer’s private information to tech companies like Google and Meta.

The lawsuit from Michael Lessner, accuses the bank of collecting and then selling customer info without their knowledge or permission.

The info was gathered from loan and credit card applications.

The lawsuit also accuses third party companies would buy that same info and would resell it.

Lessner is requesting a jury trial.
