A Saco man faces multiple charges after he crashed into a house in Waterboro Friday afternoon and attempted to flee the scene.

Police say 28 year old Parker Janelle, of Saco had drove off the road and into the house hard enough to compromise the foundation causing the dwelling to be declared unsafe and uninhabitable by town officials.

Police say Janelle fled the scene on foot and was found about a mile and a half away where he was arrested and transported to SMMC.

The sole occupant of the residence wasn’t home at the time of the accident, and has since moved in with family.

Janelle was summoned for operating without a license, driving to endanger, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
