City of Portland says residents have returned more than 28,000 absentee ballots

The city of Portland reported Friday that more than 32,000 absentee ballots have been requested.

City officials said in an email that voters have returned more than 28,000 absentee ballots.

Since Oct. 5, over 6,300 people in Portland have voted in person.

The city reminded residents they must return their ballot no later then 8 p.m. on election day.
