Clifton Crash Results in a Teenage Arrest for OUI

A 19-year-old from Haborside has been with charged with operating under the influence after getting into vehicle collusion in Clifton, injuring a woman on Saturday night.

According to the Penobscot County Sheriffs Office, around 8:20, Kyle Gray went over the center line of the road, hitting an SUV.

The woman driver needed the jaws of life to exit her SUV and was flown to the Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Gray was being treated at the same hospital when deputies executed a search warrant to obtain his blood for testing.

He was charged with 3 counts including the OUI, aggravated driving to endanger, and operating without a license beyond restrictions.

Gray is now being held at the Penobscot County Jail.
