A heavily-traveled bridge in Portland will be replaced in 2020.

The Portland Press Herald reports state officials will present construction plans to replace a I-295 bridge at a meeting Tuesday. The project will cost $12.4 million.

Officials are already anticipating major traffic disruptions in Portland, including a closure of the highway for a few days.

The bridge runs over Veranda Street. It was built in 1961.
