A Portland man will serve 15 years in prison after pleading guilty in federal court to drug and weapon charges as well as failing to appear before the court.

Court records show Marcus Mello sold drugs to a 59-year-old York County woman who died in a parked vehicle shortly afterward.

The pills were sold as oxycodone, but turned out to be Fentanyl after a chemical analysis was performed.

Mello was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty in February.
