Covid-19 outbreak reported at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth

The Maine CDC has confirmed an outbreak of COVID-19 at Sedgewood Commons, an Alzheimer care community in Falmouth.

As of Saturday, according to our info partners at CBS-13 news, thirteen staff members and at least twenty residents have tested positive at the facility since the outbreak started two weeks ago.

Maine CDC spokesperson Robert Long told WGME, “the facility has been doing regular universal testing of staff since at least mid-may.”
