AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) Police say a crash in Augusta killed a 41-year-old man and injured his 6-year-old daughter.

They say the crash killed Scott W. Jones on Monday night. Police say his daughter was the only passenger in Jones’ truck and she was taken to a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Maine State Police said they have reconstructed the crash, and Augusta police were still investigating it on Tuesday.

The Kennebec Journal reports Jones was driving a pickup truck and crashed on Eastern Avenue.
