Serious crash involving tractor-trailer and dump truck in Stetson leaves one dead, one injured

One man is dead, and another is seriously hurt after police say a tractor-trailer ran a stop sign in Stetson and hit a dump truck Wednesday.

Maine State Police say a tractor-trailer driven by a 39-year-old Texas man ran a stop sign and hit a dump truck driven by 64-year-old Scott Webber of Glenburn.

Officers say the tractor-trailer to hit a utility pole, causing the trailer to snap and land on top of the cab, while the dump truck overturned.

The semi driver suffered serious injuries, while Webber died on the way to the hospital.
