A teenager was killed, and three others were hurt in a crash in Livermore Saturday, authorities say.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a crash just after 10 a.m. on Norlands Road.

When they arrived, they discovered that a car had struck a utility pole and rolled over.

The sheriff’s office says a 16-year-old was behind the wheel of the vehicle, while three others, who were between 16 and 17 years old, were passengers,

Authorities say one passenger, 16-year-old Sean Hiscock of Livermore Falls, died at the scene, while the others were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials say speed and wet road conditions are believed to be factors in the crash.

All of the teens were students in the Spruce Mountain School District, which said it would be prepared Monday to provide emotional support to students who need it.
