SACO, Maine (WGAN)  State Police say northbound traffic on the Turnpike in Saco has resumed following a tractor trailer crash this morning.

Troopers say a southbound car went out of control and collided with the big rig. The truck then crossed the median and hit a car on the northbound side.

The operator of that second car sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Both the truck and the second car came to rest off the road.

The car that started the chain of events did not stop.  Police say it is described only as a small maroon car.
