Crash that left teenager seriously injured in Raymond under investigation

Speed is a suspected factor in a crash that left a teenage girl seriously injured in Raymond.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the two-vehicle crash on Webbs Mills Road around 10:20 Tuesday night.

Deputies say a vehicle being driven by a 17-year-old girl from Gorham crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle.

The teen was taken to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
