Crews Begin Work on $26 Million Waterville Hotel

Construction has begun on a multi-million dollar hotel in Waterville.

The Portland Press Herald reports equipment for blasting and demolition work was moved onto the construction site on Main Street Monday.

The $26 million Lockwood Hotel is set to have 53 rooms with a restaurant. It’s expected to open in the fall of next year.
