Cross Country Skiing Picking Up Around Portland

Cross country skiing is picking up around Portland after recent storms have dropped a decent amount of fresh snow.

South Portland got the most snow in the state this past weekend’s storm, receiving more than a foot.

The South Portland Parks and Recreation Department has been spreading the word about fresh tracks at Wainwright Fields and the South Portland Golf Course.

The city received 12.5 inches between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
