Deadly crash shuts down Route 4 in Turner

One person was killed Tuesday morning in a crash in Turner.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office says one person died after a crash on Route 4 or Auburn Road near Scott’s Recreation.

Crews were still working to free victims from their vehicles into the late morning.

A stretch of Route 4 was closed but has since reopened.
