PORTLAND, Maine (AP) _ A company that makes dehydrated gourmet meals and a manufacturer of outdoor equipment are among the recipients of $24.5 million in grants from the Maine Technology Institute.

The grants were financed by a $45 million bond approved by voters last year. Kittery-based Good-To-Go LLC, the dehydrated meal company, will receive $150,000 to expand its facility. Hyperlite Mountain Gear of Biddeford, the outdoor manufacturer, will receive more than $175,000

The largest grant is a $12.5 million award going to Jackson Laboratory to construct a research mouse production facility in Ellsworth.

Vets Choice First will get $9 million to build a new corporate facility in Portland. C & L Aviation Group of Bangor will get more than $2.6 million to increase technical capabilities.
